These 15" x 24" Black Abrasive Dressing Sheets are an aggressive material designed to true or shape both non-woven and abrasive Nylon filament brushes. The sheets are made from silicon carbide grit, that removes unwanted material from the surface of cylinder brushes and exposes grit contained in brush.

Silicon carbide abrasive Dressing Sheets are an aggressive material designed to shape both non-woven and abrasive Nylon filament brushes. The sheets are made from a silicon carbide grit that removes unwanted material from the surface of cylinder brushes. At the same time, they facilitate the exposure of unwanted grit contained within the brush being shaped for easy removal. Each sheet is 15" x 24" with a grit of 36.

Silicon carbide is the hardest abrasive media.  Particles of silicon carbide are laminated to paper to create abrasive dressing sheets.  In manufacturing, silicon carbide is used for its hardness in abrasive machining processes.
