Thank you so much for your concern about our CEO, Ken Rakusin, his family, and their home. Fortunately, his family was able to evacuate safely and are now staying together at another property. While Ken’s home did sustain significant damage, estimated between $30,000 and $50,000 without insurance as State Farm dropped their coverage a few months ago, we truly feel it was a miracle that the house is still standing.
To give you an idea of the destruction around us: if you exit the home and look to the right, just four houses away, you'll see complete devastation stretching for about a mile and a half. However, to the left, there's minimal or no damage at all. It's truly astonishing how random and unpredictable this fire has been.
Our factory and offices are located 15-20 miles away from the nearest fire, so they are completely safe and secure. All of our team members are also living a similar or greater distance from the fires, so everyone is out of harm’s way.
We’re grateful to be safe and look forward to continuing business as usual.
Finding brushes made in the USA can be hard to come by. When you choose Gordon Brush® you won’t have to look far with over 3,500 brushes in stock. We pride ourselves in having a wide variety of brushes for your specific project or application. When it comes to premium quality brushes, we have it. Specifically, many buyers benefit from our variety of different handle materials. Some of these include: metal handle brushes, plastic handles, wood handles, and fiberglass handle brushes.
For instance, when choosing brushes by handle material, a popular choice is metal handle brushes because of their durability.. Some of these metal brushes include, flow-thru brushes, conductive ESD, abrasive buffs, and many more. Sometimes choosing from all of the options we have to offer can be overwhelming, so if you have a specific job that you need to complete and can’t find the perfect fit, you can contact our experienced team.
Another option we have for handle materials within our brush selection is plastic handle brushes. These brushes are usually used for industries or environments that have specific restrictions on the materials that can be used. For instance, FDA approved plastic handle material for use in the medical or food industry or conductive polypropylene plastic or static-dissipative acetal handle materials for use in an ESD environment. Finding the right brush by handle material doesn’t have to be difficult , our plastic brushes are the best in the nation, and we can custom-create for almost any project.
Not only do we offer the variety of brush handles listed above, we also have static-neutral wood and FDA approved fiberglass handle brushes, such as block brushes, scratch brushes, cleaning brushes and a whole lot more. As with all of our brushes, use the filtering system or the Wizard tool to narrow down your selection very quickly.
In addition to our line of stock brushes, Gordon Brush® can custom make any brush you need for your project. Contact our customer service department for more information about our selection or the fill material you need, and we will help. If a brush exists, we have it…if it doesn't, we'll make it!
