Thank you so much for your concern about our CEO, Ken Rakusin, his family, and their home. Fortunately, his family was able to evacuate safely and are now staying together at another property. While Ken’s home did sustain significant damage, estimated between $30,000 and $50,000 without insurance as State Farm dropped their coverage a few months ago, we truly feel it was a miracle that the house is still standing.
To give you an idea of the destruction around us: if you exit the home and look to the right, just four houses away, you'll see complete devastation stretching for about a mile and a half. However, to the left, there's minimal or no damage at all. It's truly astonishing how random and unpredictable this fire has been.
Our factory and offices are located 15-20 miles away from the nearest fire, so they are completely safe and secure. All of our team members are also living a similar or greater distance from the fires, so everyone is out of harm’s way.
We’re grateful to be safe and look forward to continuing business as usual.
This toothbrush style brush is staple-set with yellow abrasion-resistant, stiff 0.016" static dissipative Nylon filament. It has a 3 x 7/6/7 row staggered tuft pattern, with a 7/16" trim and a brush face of 1-3/8" x 1/4". This brush has a bent conductive plastic handle with finger grips and hang-up hole. Each handle displays the universal ESD safe logo in bright yellow epoxy ink. Available in 3 bristle stiffness options: soft part #21N-ESD-LT ; medium part #21N-ESD; and stiff part #21N-ESD-016.
This brush is ideal for use in almost any situation where Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) is a concern or where anti-static brushes are required. This would include cleaning, scrubbing or dusting sensitive electronic circuitry in any of today's sophisticated ESD workstations and in potentially explosive applications where a static discharge spark could be a serious problem. Destructive surface charges do not build up, since they quickly and safely dissipate through the grounded technician in a controlled manner during use.
The brushes are compliant with both EN 61340-5-1 and the EOS/ESD Association Inc. recommendations for static controlled environments. For more information go to Engineering Corner, ESD Safe Toothbrush Style Plastic Brushes.
