This category of round Taklon artist brushes is composed of two series: 0036 and 0865. The 0036 series is made using White Satin Taklon filament where as series 0865 is made using Gold Taklon. The 0865 series is also a liner brush.
Liner brushes are pointed, narrow brushes with very long rounded fibers. They are used for delicate lettering, highlighting, outlining, and long, continuous strokes. Liner artist brushes have short handles, round ferrules, and a large color carrying capacity. Liner brushes, in the artist brush category, are for painting with oils, acrylics, and inks.
These gold Taklon liner brushes are strong and durable enough for everyone from auto body shops and airplane manufacturers to ceramicists, decorative artists, and calligraphers. The brushes' fine points make them excellent for face painting and body art, with the ability to create beautiful strokes, dots, stars, and lines.
The white satin Taklon brush series is very versatile and durable. It's made to be used for fabric, watercolor, gouache, oils, and acrylics. These brushes are made with the finest white Taklon, a nickel plated ferrule, and a multi-lacquered lacquered handle.
