Thank you so much for your concern about our CEO, Ken Rakusin, his family, and their home. Fortunately, his family was able to evacuate safely and are now staying together at another property. While Ken’s home did sustain significant damage, estimated between $30,000 and $50,000 without insurance as State Farm dropped their coverage a few months ago, we truly feel it was a miracle that the house is still standing.
To give you an idea of the destruction around us: if you exit the home and look to the right, just four houses away, you'll see complete devastation stretching for about a mile and a half. However, to the left, there's minimal or no damage at all. It's truly astonishing how random and unpredictable this fire has been.
Our factory and offices are located 15-20 miles away from the nearest fire, so they are completely safe and secure. All of our team members are also living a similar or greater distance from the fires, so everyone is out of harm’s way.
We’re grateful to be safe and look forward to continuing business as usual.
When searching for brushes to use for your project, Gordon Brush® can help you find the right fit for your specific application. If your need requires a single-ended applicator, Gordon Brush® has many filament and handle options for you to select from. Handle material options include: aluminum, brass, and plastic. Fill material options include: nylon, hog bristle, and horsehair. Just like the double-ended applicator brushes, the fibers are mechanically clamped into the handle for maximum fiber retention so that no adhesives can leak out and contaminate surfaces that are being cleaned.
Our single-ended applicator brushes are great multi-purpose industrial tools. These brushes are perfect for applying glue, coatings or other solvents in industrial applications and to clean hard to reach and delicate areas. They are great for use in aerospace, janitorial, construction, electronic or maintenance industries. Plus, ordering these tools in bulk can save your business quite a bit as well.
The purpose of a single-ended applicator brush varies from cleaning small electronic areas, to applying paint or other coatings within a small space. Confined spaces are where applicator brushes come into their element since they are small in size and allow the user to have complete control when needing a small brush face and shorter stem combination.
No one else can make these types of brushes quite like we do. Shop for your specific brush with our website’s easy-to-use specification Brush Wizard search tool. Simply pick the exact specifications of the bristle material and handle material and our Gordon Brush® wizard will display brushes that match your specifications! It’s that easy!
What makes Gordon Brush® stand out above the rest is the fact that we can also make any kind of custom brush you can dream up. Even if it’s not in our stock catalog, our USA Made manufacturing process can create the unimaginable. Are you not finding the stock one-end brush you’re looking for? No problem; simply use our custom brush design technology mentioned above to order any unique combination of fill material, size and handle. Make the exclusive brush for your specific application.
